1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRACTICE UPDATES

*We will have Intensives March 8th.

*We will not have Intensives on March 15th – enjoy your spring break!

*SPRING BREAK PRACTICES: March 11, 12, 13:

-Pre-team, Level 1, 2, Bronze: 9:30-11:30

-Level 3, 4, 5, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Optionals: 11:00-2:00

**We understand that families are likely to travel over spring break, and these practices are not mandatory. We do however encourage athletes who are in town to attend spring break practices as we are in the midst of our meet season and preparing for State Meets.

BANQUET TICKETS

*Athlete tickets and one adult ticket have already been billed. If you would like to get an additional adult ticket, follow the link below. Adult tickets are limited to 2 tickets per family, or 4 tickets for split families. Siblings are not allowed at banquet due to space in the venue.

*Deadline: Friday, April 7th – no exceptions

EXTENDED PRACTICES

*We will have extended practices for the following levels to focus on a couple of specific skills until further notice. The extended time is required for anyone who is missing any required skills for their level, and is optional for others to attend. This extra time is a gift to your athletes to help them feel strong and confident at their meets and is at no cost to you!

-Level 3: Tuesday 6:00-6:30

-Level 4, 5: Tuesday 7:30-8:00

-Gold, Platinum, Optionals: Monday 8:30-8:45 & Friday 8:00-8:15

-May 10-11: Level 1, 2, & Bronze: (McKinney, TX)

USAG STATE MEETS:

-April 5-6: Gold State (Houston, TX)

-April 12-13: Platinum State (San Antonio, TX)

-April 25-27: Level 7 Regionals (Wichita, KS)

-May 2-4: Gold Regionals (Hot Springs, AR)

-May 8-11: Platinum Regionals (Universal, TX)

*Important! We generally do not get the specific day/time that each level will compete until about 2 weeks before each event. Until we post specific times, it's important that you keep the whole weekend available. However, each level will only compete in one session on one day, which generally lasts 3-4 hours. Specific times for each level/meet will be posted on the hotline as soon as we receive the information.

3. BILLING

*State meet fees were billed at the end of February.

TAAF State Meets:

Level 1, 2, Bronze: $110

Level 3, 4, 5, Silver, Gold, Alyssa, Evie, Caroline K, Clara: $135

USAG State Meets:

Gold North State: $240

Platinum & Level 7 State: $320

(Carsyn, Bella, Sophia)

*USAG – Gold State, Platinum Regionals, and Level 7 Regionals will be billed at a later date after we see who qualifies at their meets listed above.

*USAG State: The athletes listed above are based on who has qualified at this point of the season. If an athlete qualifies for their level’s USAG state meet at Rose City Classic we will get them added to the list! A 34.0 All Around score is required to qualify for USAG state meets.

4. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.

Thursday, March 6th: Wear green

Friday, March 7th: Wear a headband or a scrunchie

Monday, March 10th: No practice

Spring Break practices: Theme days!

Tuesday, March 11th: Wear beachy attire (with a leo underneath)

Wednesday, March 12th: Wear Excite! colors – all out in red, black and white!

Thursday, March 13th: Above and Beyond – space theme! (with a leo underneath)

Friday, March 14th: No practice

5. UPCOMING DATES

-April 29th: Gym Team Banquet

-May 17th: Gym Team tryouts (for new athletes only – returning gym team members will be placed into summer workout groups based on their previous season.

-June 19th-23rd, 2025: Travel Camp MANDATORY for athletes who are projected to compete in level 3, silver, or higher for the 2025-2026 season. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Level 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 athletes are expected to save these dates for the summer. Athletes must be 8 years old or older to attend travel camp. (posted 1.30.25)

-July 30th-August 1st, 2025: In House Camp MANDATORY for athletes who are projected to compete in levels 1, 2, and Bronze for the 2025-2026 season. (posted 1.30.25)
