PRACTICE UPDATES
*We have regular practice times on Monday, February 17th.
*We will not have Intensives on Saturday, February 22nd or March 1st as coaches will be at a meet.
VALENTINE’S PARTY
*If you would like to bring a treat for your teammates you are more than welcome! Please avoid anything with nuts.

EXTENDED PRACTICES
*We will have extended practices for the following levels to focus on a couple of specific skills until further notice. The extended time is required for anyone who is missing any required skills for their level, and is optional for others to attend. This extra time is a gift to your athletes to help them feel strong and confident at their meets and is at no cost to you!
-Level 3: Tuesday 6:00-6:30
-Level 4, 5: Tuesday 7:30-8:00
-Gold, Platinum, Optionals: Monday 8:30-8:45 & Friday 8:00-8:15

*February 22-23: Metroplex Challenge (Fort Worth, TX)
-Levels: 1-6, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum
*This meet is at a convention center and has parking in a parking garage. It will take some time to get from the garage to the venue and through athlete check-in, before getting to the main gym area. Please plan accordingly and plan to arrive earlier than listed below to ensure that you arrive to the correct gym by your arrival time.
*All levels will be in the WHITE GYM (except Platinum)– designated by a white curtain around the equipment.

MEET INFORMATION:
• Admission prices follow the TAAF standard:
$10/adult | $5/child ages 3 – 12 | $5/senior over 65
• Admission, concessions and shoutouts are CASH ONLY. Small bills are always appreciated!
• Spectators will be charged per session. There is not a weekend pass available.
• There are 2 parking lots to the south of the facility. The one closest to the building is reserved for coaches and judges. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot. Both lots are very close to the gym.
• The gym will open 15 minutes before the session begins or once the gym has been cleared and cleaned from the session prior.

*Important! We generally do not get the specific day/time that each level will compete until about 2 weeks before each event. Until we post specific times, it's important that you keep the whole weekend available. However, each level will only compete in one session on one day, which generally lasts 3-4 hours. Specific times for each level/meet will be posted on the hotline as soon as we receive the information.
3. BILLING
*State meet fees will be billed at the end of February.
TAAF State Meets:
Level 1, 2, Bronze: $110
Level 3, 4, 5, Silver, Gold, Alyssa, Evie, Caroline K, Clara: $135
USAG State Meets:
Gold North State: $240

*USAG – Gold State, Platinum Regionals, and Level 7 Regionals will be billed at a later date after we see who qualifies at their meets listed above.
*USAG State: The athletes listed above are based on who has qualified at this point of the season. If an athlete qualifies for their level’s USAG state meet at Rose City Classic we will get them added to the list! A 34.0 All Around score is required to qualify for USAG state meets.
4. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.

5. UPCOMING DATES
-April 29th: Gym Team Banquet
-May 17th: Gym Team tryouts (for new athletes only – returning gym team members will be placed into summer workout groups based on their previous season.
-June 19th-23rd, 2025: Travel Camp MANDATORY for athletes who are projected to compete in level 3, silver, or higher for the 2025-2026 season. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Level 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 athletes are expected to save these dates for the summer. Athletes must be 8 years old or older to attend travel camp.
